Internet connection (such as a dial-up connection) with bandwidth
of less than 300Kbps, you will experience a significant degree
of acceleration using Supercharged Internet Access.

What
types of content does Supercharged Internet Access speed up?
Supercharged Internet
Access significantly speeds up web page access. To achieve
this speed up, proprietary lossless compression is applied
to text, html, xml, javascript and style sheets. Proprietary
image compression is applied to gif images, jpeg images and Flash
content.
Supercharged Internet
Access also accelerates email traffic (POP3 and SMTP)using lossless
compression.
Supercharged Internet
Access does NOT speed up file downloads (over FTP or file sharing
programs), streaming audio/video and HTTPS (secure web
sites).

do I start Supercharged Internet Access ?
Supercharged Internet
Access is launched automatically every time Windows starts.
You do not have to launch it manually.
A Supercharged Internet
Access icon appears in the Windows system tray to show that
it is operating in the background.

an image within Internet Explorer and selecting "Show Original
Image" allows you to view the original image. Selecting
"Show All Original Images" allows you to view all original images
on the entire web page.

Select the "Image Quality" tab. Adjust the slider bar to the
desired image quality setting. Press OK to save the changes.

?
Internet Explorer
is automatically configured to use Supercharged Internet Access
. Use Internet Explorer as you normally would.

do I use other browsers with Supercharged Internet Access ?
Netscape Navigator is
automatically configured to use Supercharged Internet Access
. Use Netscape as you normally would.
For other browsers
such as Opera and Mozilla, Supercharged Internet Access works
with any web browser that allows you to specify an HTTP proxy.
You must set the HTTP proxy host to be "127.0.0.1" and the port
number to be the local listening port of the Supercharged Internet
Access Client (5400 by default). Consult your browser's documentation
for information on how this can be done.

Does
Supercharged Internet Access speed up email access?
Yes, Supercharged
Internet Access automatically accelerates your email traffic
(POP3 and SMTP) for all popular email clients such as Eudora,
Outlook, Outlook Express and Netscape Mail. Other
email clients should work transparently as well.

Does
Supercharged Internet Access speed up my secure (HTTPS) transactions
such as web banking?
Supercharged Internet
Access does not accelerate secure transactions. Secure
web sites will continue to work by bypassing the acceleration
component.

operating systems can Supercharged Internet Access be installed
on?
Supercharged Internet
Access can be installed on any of the following operating systems:
- Windows 95b w/
Winsock2
- Windows 98
- Windows 98SE
- Windows Millennium
Edition (Windows ME)
- Windows NT 4.0
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
Supercharged Internet
Access requires at least Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape
4.0 or any later version of either browser.
Note that the Supercharged
Internet Access Email Acceleration component requires Windows
98 and above, and that the Supercharged Internet Access Pop-up
Blocker component requires Internet Explorer 5.0 and above.
Newer versions of
Microsoft Internet Explorer are available free of charge through
Microsoft.
For Windows 95 users:
Currently, Microsoft does not permit Windows 95 users to install
Internet Explorer 6 or greater, however, Internet Explorer 5.5
is available.

system requirements are necessary to use Supercharged Internet
Access ?
The recommended system
requirements for Supercharged Internet Access are a Pentium
200MHz with 64MB of RAM and at least 5MB of hard-disk space.
Regardless, Supercharged
Internet Access will work within your current system configuration
to provide you with the best content acceleration.
