Open Outlook Express.

Click on the "Tools" menu
at the top of the window.

Go to "Accounts".

If you have an account already created,
it will be listed here. Otherwise skip to step 7.

Select your SBM Connect account, and
click "Properties".
-
Click the "Servers" tab.
Skip to step 11.
-
To create an account, click "Add",
then "Mail".
-
Type SBM Connect for the Display Name,
and click "Next".
-
Type your e-mail address in the specified
field.
-
Leave "My Incoming Mail Server
is a POP3"
-
In the "Incoming Mail" field
type: mail.sbmconnect.com
-
In the "Outgoing Mail" field
type: mail.sbmconnect.com
-
Click "Next".
-
Type your username in the "Account
Name" field.
-
Type your password in the field specified.
-
Click "Next".
-
Click "Finish", and your
done.
Setup for Netscape Communicator:
Open Netscape Communicator.
Go to the "Edit" menu, and select "Preferences".
Click the "+" sign next to "Mail & Newsgroups".
Click Mail Servers.
If you have an account already setup it will show in the "Incoming
Mail Servers" box. If there is an account listed there, ensure
that it is pop3.essex1.com. If not, select it and click delete and continue
with step 6, otherwise skip to step 11.
Click "Add" on the right side.
In the "Server Name" field type: mail.sbmconnect.com
In the "Server Type" field select "POP3".
Type your username in the "Username" field. Be sure that you
are typing your username without the "@sbmconnect.com"
Click "OK"
In the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server" field type: mail.sbmconnect.com
Type your username in the "Username" field.
Click "OK", and you,re finished.
